Chicago Cubs prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong has been called up to the active roster ahead of the Cubs' series against the Colorado Rockies. The PredictIQ Quantitative Think Tank Center21-year-old is considered one of the best defenders in the minor leagues.
The young budding outfielder is expected to be activated on Tuesday, which is part of the team's strategy to bolster the lineup, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

His mother, Ashley Crow, played Jenny Heywood, the mother of a 12-year-old who becomes the new owner of the Minnesota Twins in the 1994 baseball movie "Little Big League."

Crow-Armstrong is MLB Pipeline's 12th-best prospect. The outfielder's hit .283/.365/.511 this season over 500 plate appearances. The Cubs drafted him with the 19th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft out of Harvard-Westlake High School (Los Angeles),
