Yamal, who turns 17 on Saturday, played 37 league games for Barcelona in the 2023-24 campaign, his first full season with the senior team.
Yamal's goal was an answer to France, who opened up the scoring in the ninth minute. Spain would keep the offensive attack up, with a shot attempt off the boot of Dani Olmo, which ricocheted off a French defender for an own goal.
The winner of Tuesday's Spain-France matchup will face off against the England-Netherlands winner on Sunday in the Euro 2024 final.
Lamine Yamal age
Yamal was born on July 13, 2007, making him just 16 years old at the time of his goal, days short of his 17th birthday.
